Jermaine Bishop Jr. is a true freshman wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns who early enrolled in spring 2026. The Willis, Texas native was named Dave Campbell's Mr. Texas Football winner as a senior, becoming the third Longhorn to receive that honor. Bishop earned playing time at multiple positions in high school, including wideout, slot, running back, and safety. As a senior, he totaled 1,241 receiving yards with 14 touchdowns on 86 catches, adding 34 rushes for 378 yards and four scores. In a playoff game against Forney on November 29, he recorded 15 receptions for 328 yards and three touchdowns while also contributing seven carries, a passing attempt, and defensive plays.
