James Johnson is a defensive tackle from Fort Myers, Florida, who plays for the Texas Longhorns. The 6'3", 274-pound true freshman attended Miami Northwestern and North Fort Myers high schools. As a junior at North Fort Myers, Johnson recorded 60 tackles including 22 solo tackles, 29 tackles for loss, five sacks, and five quarterback hurries while helping his team reach the regional semifinals of Florida's 5A playoffs.
