Jackson Duffey is a third-year defensive back for Texas from Spring Branch, Texas, where he attended Smithson Valley High School. As a senior, Duffey tallied 43 tackles and 12 pass breakups while also recording one forced fumble. He returned an interception for a touchdown in the state semifinals and contributed on special teams with two kickoff return touchdowns, averaging 27.3 yards per return on 18 kickoffs. Offensively, he caught 27 receptions for 474 yards and four touchdowns. Duffey joined Texas as a preferred walk-on and did not appear in games during his freshman and sophomore seasons.
