Hayward Howard Jr. is a 6'2", 184-pound true freshman cornerback for the Texas Longhorns from New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Edna Karr High School, where he helped the program to an undefeated record and a Louisiana Division I Select state championship as a junior. Howard was a four-star recruit rated as the No. 28 cornerback in his class by recruiting services and No. 33 by Rivals. He early enrolled in spring 2026 and has yet to appear in statistics for the Longhorns.
