Leyton Stone is a wide receiver for Texas Tech who joined the program as a mid-year enrollee in 2025. The Lubbock native and Frenship High School product played in 10 games during his freshman season without redshirting, contributing on offense and special teams. Stone caught three passes for 42 yards and one touchdown, including two receptions for 28 yards and a score in his collegiate debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on August 30, and one catch for 14 yards in the season finale at West Virginia on November 29. At the high school level, he recorded over 4,000 receiving yards and 66 touchdowns across three varsity seasons, earning District 2-6A Offensive MVP honors as a senior with 70 catches for 1,488 yards and 29 touchdowns.
