Charles Anderson Jr. is a 6'6", 275-pound left defensive end for Texas Tech who arrived as a three-star recruit in the 2024 signing class. At Pearland Dawson High School in the Houston area, Anderson recorded 66 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks during his senior season while earning first-team All-District 23-6A honors. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, he saw action in four games including Texas Tech's Big 12 home victory over Kansas and recorded one tackle against Kent State on September 6. Anderson is majoring in accounting and is a returning roster member for the Red Raiders.
