Bryce Butler is a 6'4", 325-pound nose tackle from Toronto, Ontario, who attended St. Thomas More before playing at Garden City Community College (2022-23) and the University of Washington (2024-25). At the junior college level, Butler recorded 59 combined tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks over two seasons, earning second-team All-KJCCC honors both years. During his two seasons at Washington, he appeared in 15 games with one start, accumulating 24 tackles including 3.5 for a loss, 2.0 sacks, and a fumble recovery. In 2025, Butler earned Pro Football Football Focus recognition with a 74.0 overall grade and an 80.3 rush defense grade while recording 305 defensive snaps. He transferred to Texas Tech as a redshirt senior to use his final season of eligibility.
