Deyjhon Pettaway is a cornerback from Katy, TX, who attended Paetow High School under coach David Hicks. A 4-star recruit ranked No. 131 in the top-300 national recruit rankings, Pettaway recorded 80 tackles, four pass breakups, and one interception as a junior en route to District 19-6A First Team honors. As a sophomore, he posted 26 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, one interception, and one fumble recovery. Pettaway helped Paetow win a state championship in 2021 and competed in track with a personal best of 10.59 in the 100m. He is entering his redshirt freshman year with Texas A&M.
