Camren Hamiel is a true freshman cornerback for Texas A&M who enrolled in January 2026. The 5'10", 174-pound Detroit native attended Desert Edge in Arizona for two seasons under head coach Henri MacArthur, earning one letter at Fort Wayne Northrop. A consensus four-star prospect ranked 136th nationally, Hamiel recorded 158 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and four interceptions during his high school career. He helped Desert Edge compile a 21-5 record over two years, including a 5A AIA State Championship as a junior, and added 13 rushes for 126 yards with one touchdown on offense as a senior.
