TJ Metcalf is a safety from Birmingham, Alabama who attended Pinson Valley High School before playing at Arkansas and Michigan. He appeared in 13 career games with 13 starts, recording 58 tackles as a junior at Michigan in 2025, when he earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors and started all 13 games. At Arkansas, he played in 12 games as a sophomore with 11 starts and totaled 57 tackles while appearing in all 12 games as a freshman. Across his college career, Metcalf has 3.5 tackles for loss, 11 pass breakups and four interceptions on 1,601 defensive snaps. He enrolled at Tennessee in January 2026 and participated in spring practice with the Volunteers.
