Mariyon Dye is a defensive end for the Tennessee Volunteers standing 6'5" and weighing 270 pounds. The Elkhart, Indiana native enrolled at Tennessee in January 2025 after committing to the program in June 2024. As a true freshman in 2025, Dye appeared in seven games and recorded eight total tackles, including one solo tackle, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He tallied two tackles against ETSU, two tackles and 0.5 sacks versus New Mexico State, and assisted tackles in contests against Vanderbilt and Illinois. Dye, a consensus four-star recruit ranked 65th nationally by recruiting services, is a returning sophomore for the 2026 season.
