Ethan Utley is a defensive tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers who enrolled in January 2025 after being a consensus four-star recruit from Nashville's Ensworth School. As a true freshman in 2025, he appeared in 12 games and recorded five tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack. Utley made his debut against Syracuse on August 30, recorded his first career tackle in the SEC opener against No. 6 Georgia on September 13, and posted a career-best two tackles with one tackle for loss in a road win at Kentucky on October 25. He also logged one tackle in the Vols' 31-11 victory at Florida and made one tackle in the Music City Bowl versus Illinois.
