CJ Edwards is a defensive end for the Tennessee Volunteers who stands 6'3" and weighs 230 pounds. The true freshman from Edison, New Jersey, attended St. Joseph High School, where he recorded 33 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks during the 2025 campaign while helping the team to an 8-2 record. Edwards was a consensus three-star prospect and the No. 54 edge rusher nationally according to recruiting services. He committed to Tennessee in February 2025, choosing the Vols over 12 other Division I offers including nine Power Four programs. Edwards enrolled early and participated in spring practices.
