Troy Cunningham is a nose tackle for the Temple Owls listed at 6'3" and 265 pounds. A native of South Park, Pennsylvania, Cunningham played offensive and defensive tackle at South Park High School under head coach Brian Abbey. As a senior, he recorded 41 tackles (26 solo), 11 sacks, and 22 tackles for loss while earning all-state recognition and defensive lineman of the year honors. His school won the WPIAL Class 2A championship that season. Cunningham joined Temple's 2025 recruiting class and redshirted his freshman year after earning defensive practice player of the week honors at UMass and making his career debut at North Texas. He returns as a redshirt freshman for the 2026 season.
