Russell Sykes IV is a defensive tackle for Temple standing 6'3" and weighing 260 pounds from Rolesville, North Carolina. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, he recorded 13 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack while also recovering a fumble. In high school, Sykes lettered four years at Rolesville High School, where he compiled 75 tackles, 12.0 TFLs, and 10.0 sacks as a senior and earned first-team all-conference honors. He is returning as a redshirt sophomore for the 2026 season.
