Khalif McNear is a freshman offensive lineman for Temple, standing 6'2" and weighing 290 pounds. The Philadelphia native attended Roman Catholic High School, where he played both offensive and defensive tackle under head coach Rick Prete. As a senior, McNear earned first-team All-Catholic honors. He received Ed "Huck" Palmer PCL Red All-Catholic selection as a junior and honorable mention all-area recognition. Originally a running back, McNear transitioned to the line before joining the Owls in June 2026. He is the fourth generation of his family to attend Temple, following his great-grandfather, father, and brother.
