Carl Hardin, a redshirt junior kicker from Raleigh, North Carolina, is the returning incumbent placekicker for Temple. In 2025, his second season of competition, Hardin converted 11 of 14 field goal attempts for 73 points, including a career-long 52-yarder against Tulsa that earned him special teams player of the game honors. He made all 40 extra point attempts and ranked among American Conference leaders in PATs converted. Hardin joined Temple as a walk-on in 2023 and saw early action as kickoff specialist before redshirting that season. At Broughton High School, he lettered three times as both kicker and punter.
