Tristan Johnson is a defensive tackle for TCU from Hurst, Texas, where he attended L.D. Bell High School as a three-star recruit. Johnson redshirted during the 2024 season without appearing in games. In 2025 as a redshirt freshman, he appeared in every game and recorded 17 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1.5 tackles for loss. He posted five tackles and a sack against Colorado and three stops on the road at Arizona State.
