Nate McCashland is a placekicker for TCU from Lincoln, Nebraska, who attended Southeast High School. In 2023, he redshirted without appearing in games. During the 2024 season, McCashland played in seven games, handling kickoff duties and recording four touchbacks on eight attempts. In 2025, he emerged as the starting kicker following an injury and made 9 of 12 field goals with a long of 41 yards while converting all 42 extra points. He earned Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors against West Virginia and delivered a game-winning 29-yard field goal against Houston.
