Tripp Woody is a placekicker for Syracuse who transferred to the program in December 2024 after his redshirt year at Iowa. A native of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Woody attended Charlotte Christian High School, where he served as both kicker and punter. In his first season with the Orange in 2025, Woody appeared in every game and made 12 of 14 field goal attempts for 58 points, including a career-long 49-yarder against both Clemson and Boston College. He converted all 22 extra-point attempts and went a perfect 10-for-10 from inside 40 yards.
