Malachi Coleman is a running back from Roanoke, Virginia, who attended William Flemming High School, where he set the school record for rushing yards and earned three-time All-State and All-Region honors. The 5'10", 190-pound back was rated a three-star prospect and tabbed by national outlets as the No. 41 rated running back in the nation. Coleman redshirted during the 2024-25 season, appearing in four games while carrying the ball nine times for 31 yards. He made his collegiate debut against Colgate with three carries for seven yards, recorded a season-high five carries for 17 yards against Notre Dame on November 22, and added one carry for seven yards versus Boston College on November 29.
