Ju'Juan Johnson is a running back who transferred to Syracuse in spring 2026 from LSU. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Johnson played quarterback at Lafayette Christian Academy, where he compiled 14,451 total yards and 171 total touchdowns and was named Louisiana's Mr. Football in 2023. At LSU, he began his college career at defensive back before shifting to running back midway through his freshman season in 2024. In his sophomore year (2025), Johnson appeared in all 13 games with one start, recording 41 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns while adding 17 receptions for 72 yards. He has totaled 48 carries for 169 yards and two touchdowns across 26 games at LSU, plus 22 catches for 94 yards and one receiving touchdown.
