Josh Kubala is a linebacker for Syracuse from Syracuse, New York, who attended Cicero-North Syracuse High School. The 6'2", 230-pound redshirt senior has appeared in 36 games for the Orange. Kubala made his collegiate debut against Colgate in 2023 and recorded his first tackle that season against Virginia Tech. During his 2024 redshirt sophomore year, he appeared in 12 games and accumulated six tackles while also posting a sack. In 2025, Kubala appeared in every game primarily on special teams, recording two tackles including stops against UConn and Miami. He is a member of the ROTC program and majors in political science.
