Gary Bryant III is a weakside linebacker from Baltimore who attended Good Counsel High School before playing at South Dakota. At the FCS level, he earned All-American and All-Conference honors as a redshirt sophomore in 2024, recording 103 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery across 14 games. Bryant transferred to Syracuse in spring 2025 and tied for the team lead with 60 tackles in his first season, adding 4.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. Over his collegiate career, he has appeared in 36 games with 167 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sacks.
