Cornell Perry is a safety from Brownstown, Michigan, who enrolled at Syracuse in January 2022. After redshirting that year due to injury, Perry appeared in 10 games as a reserve in 2023 and 11 games mostly on special teams in 2024, recording five combined tackles. In 2025, his redshirt junior season, Perry emerged as a starter with seven starts across all 12 games, tallying 45 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup. He recorded a career-high seven tackles twice, against Clemson and Boston College, and added a quarterback hurry in the Clemson win. Perry holds a career total of 50 tackles at Syracuse.
