Jay Green is a 6'3", 215-pound nickelback for Stanford from Houston's Lamar High School. Green spent two seasons at Washington, appearing in 24 games including all 15 as a sophomore before the Huskies reached the National Championship game. He transferred to Stanford and appeared in four games as a junior in 2024, recording 17 tackles, 0.5 tackles-for-loss, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery before a season-ending injury at Clemson on Sept. 28. In 2025 as a redshirt senior, Green played in 10 games with nine starts, accumulating 631 defensive snaps—the team's most—and finished with 38 tackles, eight passes defended, 2.5 tackles-for-loss and two fumble recoveries. He earned All-ACC Honorable Mention and the Frank Rehm Award for Defense.
