Trey Horne is a 6'3" wide receiver from Columbia, South Carolina, who attended Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School as a three-star recruit. He spent two seasons at Georgia Tech (2023-24) without appearing in games before transferring to Southern Miss. In 2025, Horne played in eight contests primarily on special teams. On September 6 against Jackson State, he blocked a punt that teammate Zach Ruffin returned for a touchdown—Southern Miss's first blocked punt since November 26, 2022. During his prep career, Horne accumulated 4,743 yards and 67 touchdowns across multiple roles while earning two all-state selections.
