Kaden Saunders is a wide receiver from Columbus, Ohio, who played college football at Penn State before joining Southern Miss. A four-star recruit ranked 55th overall in the 2022 class, Saunders appeared in 12 games during his redshirt freshman season in 2023, recording six receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown while also serving as the team's primary punt returner with 14 returns for 86 yards. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in both 2023 and 2024. In 2024, he appeared in four games as a punt returner, accumulating 25 yards on four returns before an injury ended his season. Saunders did not see action in 2025 and now returns as a redshirt junior for the Golden Eagles.
