Robert Briggs is a running back from New Orleans, LA who attended Bellville High School before playing at Utah State. At Southern Miss, the 5'7" 183-pound returner appeared in 11 games during 2025, starting against Louisiana Tech and Texas State. He rushed 62 times for 304 yards and one touchdown, averaging 4.9 yards per carry with a long run of 24 yards. Briggs also caught 13 passes for 95 yards and one receiving touchdown. His best performance came against ULM with 55 rushing yards, while he added 36 yards on five carries in the New Orleans Bowl.
