Jaylen Foster is a running back for Southern Miss standing 5'11" and weighing 190 pounds. A native of Greenwood, SC, Foster attended Emerald High School, where he earned Class 3A All-State honors as a defensive back and rushed for 1,214 yards with 19 touchdowns as a senior in 2022. He began his college career at Georgia State in 2023 before transferring to Itawamba CC. In 2025, playing in all nine games, Foster accumulated 542 rushing yards and three touchdowns while adding 16 receptions for 88 yards and averaging 73.1 all-purpose yards per game. He currently returns to Southern Miss as a redshirt junior.
