Kolby Peavy is a free safety from Monroeville, Alabama, who attended Excel High School before joining Alabama as a walk-on. During his time with the Crimson Tide, he appeared in four games in 2025, recording three stops with half a tackle for a loss totaling negative one yard. He was named a defensive scout player of the week by Alabama coaches in preparation for the ULM matchup. In 2024, Peavy played in two contests and made one tackle for loss. He transfers to Southern Miss as a redshirt junior.
