Brandon Hood is a running back from Conyers, Georgia, who attended Eagles Landing Christian Academy before playing at Massachusetts. In his high school career, he accumulated 2,410 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns across three seasons. He recorded his best performance as a sophomore with 1,381 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on 225 carries, surpassing 100 yards in seven games. Hood appeared in three games during his freshman year at Colorado in 2024. As a redshirt freshman at Southern Miss in 2025, he rushed for 368 yards on 98 carries and two touchdowns, adding 11 receptions for 88 yards. His most productive outing came against Buffalo with 178 yards rushing, including a 90-yard touchdown run.
