Tavin Ward is a 6'1", 197-pound safety from Fort Myers, Florida, who has started for South Florida across three seasons. In 2024, he appeared in all 13 games with 13 starts, recording 62 total tackles and leading the team with three interceptions while adding two tackles for loss and three pass break-ups. During the 2025 season, Ward started 10 of 11 appearances, posting 60 tackles (33 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception returned 40 yards for a touchdown, and two pass deflections. He was named to the 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-Conference Second Team. Ward is a returning redshirt senior for the 2026 season.
