Richard Scott III is a defensive tackle for South Florida, standing 6'4" and weighing 270 pounds. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where he recorded 17 tackles and 5.0 sacks as a senior while helping the program capture the 2024 FHSAA 5A State Championship. A three-star recruit with an 86 grade, Scott received 14 offers from programs including Florida, Miami, and Penn State before committing to the Bulls. In 2025, his redshirt freshman season, he appeared in eight games and tallied two total tackles with 0.5 sacks, including a tackle and half-sack performance at North Texas on October 10.
