Asani Redwood is a defensive tackle who transferred to South Florida in January 2026 after four seasons at West Virginia. The 6'3", 300-pound lineman from Suwanee, Georgia appeared in 39 games for the Mountaineers, accumulating 47 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. In 2025, he recorded 23 tackles and one tackle for loss across 12 games, including a season-high five stops against Ohio. During his high school career at Collins Hill, Redwood earned MaxPrep All-American and Georgia First Team All-State honors, posting 181 career tackles with 23.5 sacks.
