Herlin Perry Jr. is a redshirt freshman left cornerback for South Florida at 5'11" and 180 pounds from East Providence, Rhode Island. He attended Miami Central High School, where he recorded 19 tackles, eight pass break-ups, and one interception returned for a touchdown as a senior. A three-star recruit with an 85 rating from recruiting services, Perry selected USF after receiving offers from Pitt, Maryland, FAU, FIU, and UMass. During the 2025 season, he appeared in three regular season games and the Cure Bowl, recording one tackle versus UTSA on November 6, and earned USF Athletic Honor Roll recognition that fall.
