Amarion Fortenberry is a safety who transferred to South Florida in January 2026 after spending time at Kansas State and South Alabama. At South Alabama in 2024, he appeared in 13 games with eight starts as a true freshman, recording 45 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and nine passes defended. He posted a season-high 12 tackles against LSU and logged two interceptions, including one versus Western Michigan in the Salute to Veterans Bowl. During his 2025 season at Kansas State, Fortenberry saw action in 12 games and tallied 13 tackles with one tackle for loss and a pass break-up. Across 25 collegiate games entering his time with the Bulls, he has 58 tackles.
