Gavin Leach is a 6'2", 225-pound linebacker from Newburgh, IN, who played at Castle HS. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, he chose South Florida over offers from Cincinnati, Washington State, Illinois State, Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Western Michigan. In his high school senior season, Leach appeared in nine games and also competed in track and field. During his 2025 freshman campaign, Leach saw action in 10 games and recorded five tackles, including a career-high three stops against Rice on 11/29.
