Peyton Williams is a safety from Heath, Texas who enrolled at South Carolina in January 2022 after graduating from Rockwall-Heath High School. He appeared in three games as a freshman before redshirting that season. After missing 2023 due to an ankle injury, Williams saw action in all 13 games in 2024, recording 19 tackles and two pass breakups with one start at Vanderbilt. In 2025, he started all 12 games and compiled 50 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, and two pass breakups. Williams was named the defense's Most Improved Player following spring drills and earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.
