Jimmy Francis is a redshirt sophomore quarterback for South Carolina who stands 5'10" and weighs 190 pounds. The Dallas native graduated from St. Mark's School of Texas in 2024, where he played quarterback and free safety as a three-year varsity player and served as team captain in 2023. Francis walked on to the Gamecocks in summer 2024 and redshirted his freshman year while working with the scout team. He continues as a scout team contributor in 2025 and has earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition in consecutive years. Francis is a real estate major at the Darla Moore School of Business.
