Lucian Anderson III is a 6'3", 216-pound quarterback from Athens, Georgia who graduated from Clarke Central High School in December 2022. He played high school football under head coach David Perno, recording 3,294 passing yards and 28 touchdowns alongside 936 rushing yards and 19 scores across his career. Anderson transferred to South Carolina from Bowling Green, where he appeared in 16 games over three seasons. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year, he started twice and threw for 245 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions while accumulating 161 rushing yards and one score on 29 carries before suffering a knee injury that ended his season.
