Jamian Risher Jr. is a 6'1", 238-pound weakside linebacker from Varnville, South Carolina who attended Wade Hampton High School. A walk-on who joined South Carolina's roster in summer 2023 following an on-campus tryout, he appeared in each of the final six games that season on special teams. In 2024, he saw brief action in three contests against Old Dominion, Akron, and Wofford without recording statistics. During the 2025 campaign, the redshirt senior appeared in two games against South Carolina State and Coastal Carolina, posting four tackles with two in each appearance. He earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition in both 2024 and 2025.
