Bio

Gunnar Yocum is a long snapper for the South Carolina Gamecocks. A native of Huger, South Carolina, Yocum graduated from Philip Simmons High School in 2024 after spending three years at Oceanside Collegiate Academy. He joined South Carolina as a walk-on in summer 2024 and redshirted his freshman year as a reserve behind Hunter Rogers. In 2025, Yocum served as a backup long snapper to Cole Rasmussen and did not see game action. He is currently a redshirt sophomore majoring in sport and entertainment management.
