Jacob Porco is a linebacker for South Alabama from Birmingham, Alabama, where he attended Oak Mountain High School. As a senior in high school, he recorded 25 tackles for loss and earned First Team All-Region honors. Porco redshirted during his freshman season in 2024. In 2025, he appeared in six games primarily on special teams, accumulating four tackles and forcing a fumble, both against Texas State. He is a returning redshirt sophomore standing 6'1" and weighing 210 pounds.
