Cole Blaylock is a safety for South Alabama who hails from Mobile, AL, where he attended UMS-Wright. Originally recruited as a running back, he appeared in three games during his 2023 freshman year before redshirting. In 2024, Blaylock played in 12 of 13 games primarily on special teams, recording 10 total tackles with five solo stops, including three against Georgia Southern. During the 2025 season, he appeared in all 12 games with one start against Southern Miss. He finished with 12 total tackles, one interception returned 30 yards, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup. Blaylock currently stands 6'0" and weighs 190 pounds as a redshirt junior.
