Brandon Miyazono is a linebacker for SMU from Frisco, Texas. A three-star recruit, he appeared in 12 games as a freshman in 2023, recording 13 tackles with eight solo. In 2024, his sophomore year, he saw action in 10 games and posted 15 tackles, five solo, along with three tackles for loss and a sack. During the 2025 season, Miyazono appeared in all 13 games with two starts, accumulating 45 tackles and 23 solo tackles. He led the team with eight pass breakups, added 4.5 tackles for loss, and recorded one interception against Syracuse on October 4. Miyazono also forced a fumble at Clemson on October 18.
