Brandon Booker is a linebacker for the SMU Mustangs from DeSoto, Texas. A consensus three-star recruit, Booker played in all 14 games as a freshman in 2024, recording 10 tackles with four solo. In his sophomore season (2025), he appeared in all 13 games and started 11, accumulating 69 total tackles (26 solo) for third on the team. He added three tackles for loss including 0.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups. Booker posted a season-high 1.5 TFLs against Louisville on November 22 and logged eight tackles in four separate games.
