Alex Woods is an offensive lineman from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who attended Treasure Coast High School. A three-star recruit, Woods received an offer from Iowa State among others. In his prep career, he helped the Titans to a 10-2 record and a district title during his junior season, earning second-team all-state recognition. Woods joined SMU in 2023, appearing in one game against Prairie View A&M before redshirting. He appeared in four games during the 2024 redshirt freshman season. Currently a redshirt junior, Woods did not appear in a game during the 2025 season.
