Runye Norton is a left cornerback from Jacksonville, Florida, who attended Sandalwood High School and Trinity Christian Academy. He played college football at Catawba College and El Camino College before joining San José State as a transfer. At El Camino in 2024, Norton recorded 18 tackles and one interception across nine games, adding five pass breakups. In his first season with the Spartans in 2025, he appeared in 10 games primarily on special teams and registered one pass breakup. Norton chose SJSU for its information technology program.
