Max Friedman is a 6'5" tight end from Merced, California who attended Stone Ridge Christian High School, where he lettered in football, baseball, and basketball. In his senior season, he recorded 24 receptions for 480 yards and 12 touchdowns. Friedman redshirted during the 2023 season at Northwestern College before transferring to Modesto Junior College. In 2024-25 at Modesto, he appeared in 13 games, catching 19 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown while averaging 17.5 receiving yards per game. He was named to the President's Academic List and helped his team win the league championship. Friedman is now in his first season at San José State as a returning sophomore.
